Private & Small Workshops
Step into my studio in Northiam and discover your creativity. Surrounded by the beautiful East Sussex landscape, reset your busy mind and experience the meditative, grounding benefits of working with clay — there’s nothing quite like shaping, molding, and creating with your own hands.
Kilns are powered by solar energy, and the studio is warm and cosy with underfloor heating for chilly days. On sunnier days, creations can be taken outside, with stunning countryside views stretching to the windmills at Rolvenden and Sandhurst.
Workshops can also be purchased as gifts, perfect for friends, family, or anyone looking for a creative escape.
Sip & Sculpt Workshops
Sip & Sculpt workshops are a relaxed, hands-on way to get creative, perfect for groups of friends, colleagues, or anyone looking for a fun evening out. Held at local venues across Kent and Sussex, these events bring people together to unwind, chat, and make something beautiful from clay.
Each session focuses on crafting a specific piece, such as a spoon rest, tealight holder, or chip & dip bowl, that you can keep or gift to someone special afterwards.
Sip your favourite drink, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and let your creativity flow in this fun, social setting.
Private Events
Looking for a unique way to celebrate? A Mudfired clay experience makes birthdays, hen parties, and special gatherings truly memorable. Each private event is tailored to your group; whether you’d like a relaxed, chatty session or something a little more focused and creative.
Guests are guided step by step through making their own ceramic pieces, from pinch pots to tealight holders, with plenty of laughter, and maybe a few drinks, along the way. It’s a wonderful way to connect, unwind, and create something personal to take home at the end of the day.
All materials are provided, and sessions can be hosted either in the studio or at your chosen venue.
